Farmers Market
Clark Park's farmers market is the only year-round event of its kind in Philly. It happens Saturday from 10-2, rain or shine. The market is organized and sponsored by the Philadelphia Food Trust.
Uhuru Flea Market
Beginning in April, and continuing into October, the Uhuru Solidarity Committee hosts a monthly flea market in the park. See the Uhuru Flea Market website for more information
Shakespeare in Clark Park
This theatre company, formed in 2005, is committed to presenting free, outdoor productions of Shakespeare’s plays and creating cultural events accessible to the Clark Park neighborhood and the greater Philadelphia area.
Movies in Clark Park
University City District, in partnership with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and Friends of Clark Park, hosts movies in the park over the summer. Bring a blanket or chair and join the fun!
Dickens Day Celebration
We celebrate the birthday of Charles Dickens in early February. Readings and performances are held near the stature, followed by a gathering at a local restaurant.
Veteran's Day Celebration
Our annual Veterans Day commemoration in Clark Park honors all those who have served in the armed forces. The event is led by the HMS School and the local boy scouts at the Gettysburg Stone.
Party in the Park
This is one of West Philly's favorite annual fall events in the park. Local beers, food truck cuisine, live music and so much more! Admission is always free.
Bark in the Park
Started in 1991, Bark in the Park is our annual celebration of dogs of all types during the fall. With competitions and treats, it is always a great time. Check our calendar for the date. No RSVP necessary, just show up!
